West lakeWest Lake (Vietnamese: Hồ Tây) is a freshwater lake in Tay Ho district -  the center of Hanoi, Vietnam. With a shore length of 17 km (about 10.6 miles), this is the largest lake of the capital and a popular place for recreation with many surrounding gardens, hotels and villas. When you come here, you will be enjoy one of the most exciting activities, that is driving duck boat, as well as have Shrimp cake in restaurants front of the lake.

Tran Quoc pagodaVisiting Hanoi, you cannot avoid Tran Quoc Pagoda - the oldest pagoda in the city, originally constructed in the sixth century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De, thus giving it an age of 1,400 years. This pagoda is located in Tay Ho district and covered by water three sides. The original named is Khai Quoc (National Founding), shows its significance.
