      Went to My Son what incredible architecture it must have been a very significant place in the history of Viet culture. Sad to see how other countries can desecrate a sight like this.French taking the heads off the statues and taking them back to France. The Americans destroying it in the Vietnam war.

      Unless it was for the tour, we did not go to My Son, so it was worth it. On the otherhand, the tour was quite disorganised: we were waiting for the pick up for nearly an hour so even the hotel receptionists were worried for us. The guide was ok. The trouble was on the way back. After tips were collected, the driver tried to drop us off in the North of Hoi An Old Town although we （and five others）were told that we were taken back to the hotel. We argued that it would take an hour for us to walk back such distance in such heat （My Son was boiling hot and my husband was suffering from heat attack）and other five simply did not know where they were. We were finally dropped off NEARER our hotel. Not hospitable enough.
