Hi, my name is Hieu but you can also call me Steven – that’s my nick name. I was born in 1985 in a village just one hour away from Ha Long city. Then my family moved to live in Ha Long city in 2005 when I was about 20 years old. Since then, I know that I’ve belonged to this city because I so much love it for the beauty of Ha Long Bay, its so fantastic surrounding landscapes, the people,  nice fresh food and everything …

I’ve been working as a local English-speaking guide in Ha Long for 6 years, and also a teacher of English for 4 years as my part-time job. I normally have my lessons in the evening between 7pm and 9pm, from morning until 6 pm every day is reserved for my main job as a local guide. I’ve been cooperating as a local guide with Saigontourist Travel Service company, Tan Hong Travel Agent in Halong, Asian Destination (OSC), Hanoi Travel Service, and some local hotels.
